Jared Buckley - Community Life Pastor

Being raised as a preacher’s kid, Jared understands the life of being in ministry.  Raised in Newbury Park, California, Jared is the youngest of five kids. He accepted Christ at early age of 8, but it wasn’t until the age of 24 that he fully grasped the meaning of being a Christ follower. God has been working inside of him ever since. After graduating from Hope International University and then spending a year in Tennessee pursuing his masters, Jared was called to be a youth pastor in Anthem, Arizona at The Crossroads. In three short years, Jared had a great ministry experience where he grew personally in his walk with Christ, got married to Stephanie, and had their first child, Fayth.

God started working in Jared and Stephanie from the moment they met. He felt like God had something big planned for them, but it wasn’t until late in 2009 did God start to reveal part of His plan for the Buckley family. Jared felt the strong call to join a church plant in Utah. With the blessings of Stephanie and The Crossroads Lead Pastor, Steve Wyatt, Jared pursued this call. This is where Bryan and Jared started their Journey together. Sharing the same vision to transform the lives of people, the Buckley family has joined in this Journey to Utah with the Meyers family.  With this exciting new step, Jared and Stephanie are extremely excited to be a part of God’s big plans for the Northern Utah Valley.
